June 5, 2015 the WooFPAK went for a Mushing Tour of Laurel Mountain in Pennsylvania. The first major ski resort in Western PA was here at Laurel Mountain. It opened in 1939 as a private facility but was opened to the public after World War II. Owned by General Richard K. Mellon, he gave the property to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1964.
