Shenandoah Valley

By

August 28, 2014, dusk was approaching as the WooFPAK was Free Ranging the farm in the Shenandoah Valley when the WooFDriver captured this beautiful photo of the mountainside. The WooFDriver has his own private getaway here where he enjoys these quiet times with nature.

The Shenandoah Valley includes nine counties in Virginia and two in West Virginia, and is named after the Shenandoah River. Exploration for colonial settlement from the east was delayed until 1671 because of the obstacle of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The valley contains a number of limestone caves, some have become National Natural Landmarks.
